Excellent infrastructure
Aside from the individual access roads, the trade fair grounds are accessible via two light rail lines (Stadtbahn) in the north and east as well as the trade fair train station "Hannover Messe/Laatzen", which lies on the main north-south track connecting Hamburg, Hanover and Frankfurt/Main. Two so-called "Skywalks", which are canopied moving sidewalks, provide easier access to the trade fair grounds from the train station in the west to the Hall 13 entrance, and in the east from the car park to Halls 8/9. A new commuter railway line (S-Bahn) connects the Hannover-Langenhagen Airport via the main train station with the trade fair grounds.
